A series of Focus Groups held in Los Angeles with users of
Small Format Digital Consoles from the project-studio
and post-production markets.
Despite the promise of cost-effective
digital mixing and full automation, why has the market reacted so sluggishly?
How can a manufacturer extend the market potential for its new or planned
offerings? How can it claim a larger market share?
Details of these discussions were made
available in a Market Report and companion videocassettes.

A series of Focus Groups with users of Digital Audio Workstations
from the music and post-production markets
spotlighted the challenge faced by DAW manufacturers.
As we discovered, users in the Music Recording market
need a powerful set of processing functions, including EQ, dynamics,
reverb, etc., within the digital domain.
The Post Production Market,
in contrast, requires a different type of functionality than the music
sector.
Details of these discussions were made available in a comprehensive
Market Report and companion videocassette.
